TRAINING SERVICES

The details:
​We offer private lessons only at this time. Our training plans are customized and designed to address your specific needs and goals. We are a choice-based positive trainer. Our prices are subject to travel fees and will be adjusted for multiple dogs, if necessary. 

Spaces for Foundations and Board & Train is limited. At this time, we do not take aggressive or reactive dogs due to the nature and goals of our program, but may be able to provide you with referrals to another trainer if necessary. We require that all dogs have an assessment before we begin lessons to ensure that we understand your dog and where they are at as well as your goals for your dog. 

All dogs MUST BE up to date on their vaccinations before any training sessions with us. If you want to do a board & train with us, we require a negative full fecal exam from your vet before your stay. 

Foundations Training

This is puppy training for 8-12 week old puppies. This is a unique program and is only available to puppies that we have bred and raised prior to 8 weeks in our home.

Board & TRAIN

Board and Train are a great way for the trainer to "install" the desired behaviors and gives you a great way to get started on behavior training. We focus on your goals while teaching manners, positive associations and basic skills. 

​$600 per week. ​

PRIVATE TRAINING

We offer obedience and task training in a private setting. We can offer in person or virtual lessons. This is a great option for obedience and task training or therapy training. 

$60 per lesson. Travel fees may apply. We are located in Lehi, Utah.

Foundations-
Basic Puppy Training

We offer Basic "Foundations" Puppy Training from weeks 8-12 for people who have purchased a puppy from us ONLY. This is an introduction to training and gets your puppy off to the right start with appropriate training from the beginning. This foundational training prepares puppies for further service and therapy work, in addition to heavy work on potty training and bite inhibition. Puppies go through their first two fear periods before 12 weeks of age. Training and socialization in a controlled environment is crucial for your dog's confidence and ability to perform difficult tasks in new or stimulating environments. Training at this age is vital as the dog will build upon the training that they receive at this age for the rest of their lives. 

Your Puppy will be introduced* to the AKC STAR Puppy: Pre-Canine Good Citizen Behaviors:

• Allows petting by a person other than the owner
• Grooming- Allows owner handling and brief exams of ears, feet and mouth
• Walks on a leash for brief periods of time
• Sits on command  (can use food lure)
• Down on command (can use food lure)
• Comes to owner from 5 feet away 
• Reactions to distractions at 15 ft away

Home and Family Skills: 

• Potty Training
• Crate Training for short periods of time
• Socialization to new people, places, things, animals
• Place Introduction
• Greetings (No jump) Intro
• Separation Intro
• Dr. Ian Dubar's Bite Inhibition

*Our Foundations program is an introduction to training and most of the introductory work will be done so the puppy is ready to be part of regular family life at an accelerated pace. Training should be a pattern of life for your dog and you will need to continue what we have started in our Foundations program.

Price: $300 per week starting at 8 weeks of age. Puppies may stay for the full 4 week program or continue on a week by week basis. Food, Vaccinations and Deworming costs are included in the price of the program. You will be provided with a transition and training packet upon completing our Foundations course as well as regular training updates from your puppy throughout the course. ​
